Damian's tribute to The Little Tramp comes not only from his deep knowledge of Chaplin the artist, but also the unique character he created. Having studied every detail of The Tramp's mannerisms, costumes, and personality for 20-plus years, Damian Blake is able to bring you a heartfelt and accurate tribute, perhaps one of the most unique to date. Using the skills he has honed as a stage actor and sideshow-variety performer, Damian incorporates pantomime, juggling, sleight of hand, acrobatics, and humorous sight gags to every performance.

A lifelong fan of Charlie Chaplin, Damian's obsession began around the age of two when he noticed the little black and white fellow on TV and commercials. He became enthralled with Chaplin as soon as his parents showed him a copy of "The Gold Rush." His childhood fascination with live theater and film comedy developed into a career in the performing and visual arts, where he can now incorporate these distinctive inspirations into every performance. 
Damian has provided silent comedy to countless venues across the United States, in commercials, nightclubs, theaters, weddings, event spaces, corporate functions, historic landmarks, private parties... and the list keeps growing. Recent events include a week long event at the NAB Convention in Las Vegas, repeat private events in New York, Hollywood, Chicago, an all-ages class on Chaplin movement at the University of Berkeley, CA, and frequent appearances at the Virginia Beach WW1 Museum.

Damian is also the owner/operator of the only blog website devoted to the research of Chaplin impersonations, The Faux Charlot. His personal photo collection of people dressed like The Tramp through history was featured in the German Film Institute's 2012 Chaplin retrospective, AND the Showtime documentary The Real Charlie Chaplin (2021).
